What is Debt Review?
Debt Review came in effect in June 2007 with the creation of the (NCR) National Credit Regulator and the (NCA) National Credit Act. A person is over indebted when after paying for essential living expenses for example, food, transport' insurance, school fees etc. there is not enough funds available to pay the monthly debt installments. Any person that is over indebted and earns an income can apply for Debt Review.
The NCA protects consumers from losing their homes, cars and furniture and also protects them from getting their name blacklisted or legal action to be taken against consumers.
